Summer blocking and flowers

As I drive by my house to work, I see a lot of bloom everywhere. Flowers make the city look pretty. I rephrase, flowers make everything look pretty. It makes the summer a bit bearable, don't you think?
In this blog post, I am pairing two unusual colors, purple and red. I paired this simple slip dress from ajio with a red crop top that I have in my closet since forever. I wore a striped cotton jacket from Nicobar to add some dimension to this basic outfit. This very simple look was completed with some red peep toes from Koovs x Gauri n Nainika collection and a pink & red twisted hairband from Zara.

All of us have a great variety of outfits at home but we do not quite know which kind of event it is suitable for, so I decided to write a few words about when and where a certain outfit is suitable for. This outfit can be worn for a fun day out with friends, or a dressy day event. It can also be worn for your daily activities if you can dress it down with converse shoes or ballet shoes and by chucking the headband. Also if you think the red lipstick is a bit too much for the sunlight to take, you can add any nude-ish lipstick with a peach tint. It is a day outfit of course but can go from day to night if you remove the jacket.
