Indian Summer Ready

Hello Lovelies! Its been a really hot summer, and I am starting to palpitate thinking about the fact that only half of it is over. Nevertheless, I have never been this summer ready. The kind of clothes that are in my wardrobe for this season are nothing but cottons and linens, more of dresses, less of pants and full sleeves.
In this blog post, I am showcasing this simple mixed cotton outfit which is a recent buy from the Style Bazaar Exhibition, Chennai. The store did not have a name but had a carefully curated list of summer cotton with a lot of pastel and neutrals. It is a shame that they didn't brand themselves already. Promise to give more details of this store when I bump into them in the next exhibit. I particularly liked the flap neck and the fact that it is a free size and can be made to fit with a tie-up.

For this simple outfit, I accessorized myself with a Ritika Sachdeva statement necklace. I also wore small studs and a clasp nose ring from Plush accessories. I finished styling it with a few silver rings. I wore my metallic nude court shoes which makes it look more stylish than wearing an ethnic shoe like a Mojri or Kolhapuri. I would not recommend wearing flat to this kind of outfit as it makes it look plain jane. However, for daily wear purpose, this would be ideal.

My eyes wear colored with a silver and a hint of pink. I used a lipstick with the same shade of pink. I can create any shade of lipstick that I want with the Anastasia Lip Pallette . This comes in so handy when I am traveling.
