The Pink Bougainvillea Edit

Hello Lovers! I am back with a new blogpost! Spring is here. By that I mean Summer !! There is no spring in South India mind you. ;) Just when you start to enjoy the beautiful weather and colorful flowers blooming, boom! Summer is here! :D Well, that is how short spring can be over here!

Anyways irrespective of that, I am going to take you around bougainvillea trees around Chennai and how beautiful that makes the city looks. My cotton midi dress from Vajor is coordinating well with these blooms. Although the venues look all the same, it was a different location in every pic. This outfit is so breezy and perfect for Chennai summers. I have already worn it 4 times in the last 10 days and I normally do not repeat clothes unless they are that pretty and comfy!

In this blog post, I have styled this summery dress in two different ways, The first is more inclined to a summery Indian style. I have paired the dress with my favorite pair of brown Mojris which can be worn with literally any outfit and a circular cane bag from Alankrit.  I am also wearing these beautiful holographic statements earrings which were picked up while I was street shopping in Delhi. The good part about these holographic stones is that they adapt themselves to match the outfit being worn coz the colors of the outfit reflect on them. The hairstyle, which is a one-sided braid was done by Aarti Gutta Spa & Salon at Alwarpet. I kept these braids for 3 days and it was so well done that it didn't hurt a bit.
The second look is more of a sporty casual look. I have paired this skirt with the most usable ripped oversized denim jacket that I have. And the usual white sneakers, I am wearing a statement silver tribal necklace by Amrapali and silver reflectors from Ray-ban.

 Outfit Details:
