Coco X LolStudio 1
Hello Lovelies! I had a beautiful shoot for a costume jewelry brand called LolStudio. Lolstudio is the brainchild of Poornima Shetty and Shruthi Prasad Kalichanda. When asked what is the story behind Lolstudio, Poornima says "It is a tale of two best friends residing in the world of fashion creating loud whispers. Live Out Loud Studio can trace its founding from the same spirit where we are dedicated to provide everyone with a bold and exciting range of jewelry and accessories to create their own fashion freedom". Well, that's brilliantly said Poornima and I wish you nothing but success.
Every woman needs jewelry but not everytime can one get it made of fine metal. That is when LolStudio comes to place! The range varies from beautiful bridal jewelry to junk jewelry, you can even customize the ornaments and they can also be made in silver or German silver.
In this blogpost, I am just focussing on the surreal bridal jewelry collection that they have come up this season. We shot in a beautiful location with none other than theMetalFarmer( Pritham Dsouza) assisted by Preetham Dsouza and created inputs given by Prajwal Shetty, Poornima Shetty, Alisha Rego, Nicole Pereira and Prathiksha Rai. Everything was so thoroughly planned, from the location to the beautiful flowers adorned by me. The shoot wouldn't have taken place this smoothly without them. And of course, the extremely talented Pritham made the shoot move to seemlessly and every shot looked nothing less than perfection. I wish I could just upload every picture here!
Alisha Rego did such a brilliant job on my face that my skin almost looked flawless. Not to mention the neutral eye makeup and a dramatic wing.
There are two styles of bridal jewelry portrayed with the same outfit. Look 1 is contemporary bridal worn my modern women today. Notice that the necklace, maang tika, and the earrings match each other and can be bought as a set as well. The traditional Wanki ( armband ) is a very south Indian style of jewelry and a very frankly a class part kind of a jewelry item. Please do scroll down for some great captures and the details on jewelry. Contact LOLSTUDIOPS for inquiry on these products.
Second look: This look is more leaning towards traditional bridal jewelry. Notice the waistband has an antique finish in the jewelry and so does the necklaces and the earrings that I am wearing. The layering of necklaces often represents south Indian traditional bridal style. Also, the earrings which the three-tiered pearl chain that is attached from the earring to the hair is a typical South Indian Jhumka style.
Hope you liked these shots! I had a spectacular time shooting them. Thank you for dropping by!
xoxo
