Hungover Ginghams

Hey guys! Back with a mini blog post. Simple and comfortable yet powerful is what defines my look today. Like Stripes, Gingham is evergreen. Prints like these can be stored in your wardrobe forever. The silhouette of this outfit defines casual chic. It is basically a loose shirt dress with a drawstring and a high-low hem. This dress is also great for layering. This look is an epitome of breezy styling on a perfect sunny day.
There are days where you do not feel like taking off those sunnies or getting out of the house for that matter. This was just one of those days. The title says it all ;). I put up a messy bun which absolutely does not require a mirror or a comb.  I am carrying a leather bucket bag from Mango. It is a beautiful bag and comes with a long strap as well for convenience. You can totally accessorize this bag by tying a scarf like I did here. Kitten heels are the most comfortable especially if you have foot sores after a long day of high heels. I am wearing these patent nude kitten heels with a bow from Zara for this look.

Jewelry was minimal. I layered two silver necklaces, the tasseled necklace was from Forever 21 last season. The studded pendant necklace is still available in all H&M outlets.
Makeup - Subtle and literally natural. Nothing but BB cream and lipstick. Just one of those days we let the skin feel free ;)

This look is perfect for a day out shopping or to catch a quick coffee. I also think this is a great look for mommies for a 'pick up the kids from school' day.
We had a beautiful shoot at Smoor (Bangalore) with my friend, Debsourabh Ghosh. He never fails to make me look beautiful. Thank you Joy! How did you like my mini post ? Do let me know what you think. Thank you for dropping by! Have a great day lovelies!
