Back to the Classics

Fashion doesn't always mean spending money on exuberant clothes that you could use it just once or twice. As a kid, I always had the habit of wearing the same clothes in different styles. We can try to be innovative rather than buy innovative clothes( let's admit it, it is never easy on the pockets). Never throw away clothes that are off the charts, fashion repeats itself sooner than you expect. And, try investing on styles that can never grow old. In this blog post, I have put together an outfit which will still look chic ten years down the line, I assure you.
I am wearing an oversized white shirt, which I think everyone should own. If not, you can borrow the best white shirt that your husband, boyfriend or your brother owns. I'm sure they won't even notice when one of those million white shirts go missing. I am wearing a pair of cropped parallels which are a part of a co-ord pinstripe set from FancyPants. Monochrome pinstripes are also an integral part of your wardrobe. Their wearability spectrum is really wide. I have always been stocking them up since forever. I am also wearing the single strap block heels by Forever 21 which is super comfortable compared to how uncomfortable it looks.

Makeup: Simple daily makeup with my favorite nude: Sell Out by Too faced on the lips. Classic (Non-winged) liner with some mascara. The secret to 'glow from within' look is my new Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer in the shade - Natural Radiance. Always make it a point to pack this up with a mattifying powder because this will melt off due to the heat and humidity back down here.

Simple Gold Jewellery like the classic double hoops and multi sized gold rings constituted the outfit. The simple crossbody bag can also be used as a shoulder bag by changing the straps and has become my new all purpose bag. I carry this with every/any outfit and it is super spacious as well. The cat-framed oversized jet black sunnies were bagged from Forever 21 for a minimum price of Rs. 500.
