Coming up with this post after a long break . Sorry about that. I hope this post was worth the wait.
I am wearing a draped sari from the line, SOUP by the designer Sougat Paul purchased on . This color rich sari is a beauty and the paired readymade blouse has beautiful colors that match so beautifully with the constituent colors of the sari. The blouse comes with a zipper clasping at the front. This draped sari is one of a kind and can be worn to a beach wedding or a day function. You can also wear this sari with an embroidered full sleeved blouse for a night occasion. The blouse on this sari can also be worn as a crop top, the fit is beyond perfection. The sari is versatile, you can try wearing it differently each time. In one of the pictures below, I have draped the pallu around my neck, and moved the pleats to the side. Another variation would be twisting the pallu near the shoulders and pin it to the blouse . The bottom part of the sari is more like a dhoti pant. Always wear stilettos or pumps when you wear dhoti pants, because they are flouncy near the hips and make you look shorter than normal.
I styled this sari with a headpiece by Fooljhadi, I also purchased this from Fooljhadi makes gota ornaments. If you are looking for giveaways or party favours at your wedding, I think you should take a look at their facebook page. They are reasonably priced too. The headpiece I am wearing here is a combination of golden mirror gota work and spikes, the spikes on the edges makes it suitable for contemporary wear. I've also worn a temporary nose ring since I'm not bold enough to get a real one. I completed this look with a gorgeous hand harness from Prerto. Prerto is a beautiful contemporary designer jewellery online store and I just love them! Every piece is a beauty and I wish I could own every one of them. Take a look at the site here and you will fall in love with them too.

The look was completed with heavy make up including aqua green cream eye shadow from MAKE UP FOREVER and an orange lipstick by Mac (details below).  The quality of the eyeshadow is super fine and high shine and the pigment gets on in one swipe. MAKE UP FOREVER is available at sephora and I matched my lipstick to the back of the blouse which is a bright orange.

The green shoes are a pick from Call it Spring. Any other bright colored strappy shoes would also go well with this outfit.
