All that Glitters ...
Happy 2016! Hope you guys have kicked off your new year with a positive note! I did too, and my new year resolution is to not decide on one particular resolution since I always end up dumping then in a week, although I hope to get the determination to get fitter ;)
So this post is all about what I would have worn for the perfect NYE party ( which never happens BTW ) . I picked up this Shimmer Romper from TopShop in Hongkong. It was in the petite section and I was more than ecstatic when I could fit into something from the Petite line. It is a Romper with a deep V neckline. I found something similar to this at the forever 21 here . The black blazer worn along with it is my first buy from Zara from 8 years ago. This is a great way to sober down the outfit for formal events. The brooch / hair pin is the most used accessory in my closet. I use this as a hair pin mostly whenever I have a bad hair day and want to pin it sideways.
I wore my black suede court shoes to complete look. These are from Mango and are overly used in most of my blog posts. Since the outfit is shiny, I decided to go with plain shoes as a counteract. I completed the look with a silver studded bracelet bunch from Jimmy Choo for H&M and triangle shaped danglers in the ears.
How did you like this look ? This year we plan to raise the bar of what we can do on the blog. Any kind of suggestions are always welcome. Next blog, we have a guest model all the way from London. Stay tuned. Until then .. xoxo
