The Monsoon Boho

Hello my lovelies! Hope you are all doing well this Monsoon. Manipal is so rainy and gloomy these days that you don't want to step outdoors wearing white and I did exactly the opposite, thankfully the white stayed white and not brown :D This was an early morning shoot and the weather was better than ever but when I stepped out of the house it started raining and that explains the messy wild hair.

The off shoulder top and the white shorts were picked up at Zara. Funny thing is,  I went there during the sale and all I could spot are the ones that are not on sale. I always preferred the Zara in Phoenix Mall to the one in Orion Mall (Bangalore). The off shoulder white top comes in a shiffon material and has loose bell sleeves, there was one in black as well though i chose white.  Off shoulder and flowy tops are making a comeback this season, and lately I'm obsessed with anything off shouldered. The white jeans shorts had attached lace on the sides which is what caught my eye and got me into buying it. Also I can wear it for my beach holidays, so yay! The shirt and the shorts both are priced at Rs 2290 each.

The bag is a buy from Accessorize. I had been eyeing this bag for quite a while and laid my hands on it as soon as I saw it on sale. It is priced around Rs 3650 after sale. I love the colorful sequin, tube and thread embellishments and the tassel details on this bucket bag. The floral headband is something I picked up while I was shopping at the streets of Antalya, Turkey.

I kept the face really simple, with a really simple winged eyeliner and pink lips. The lipstick is from the Mac Viva Glam Miley Cyrus collection. I am quite addicted to this lip color, it is a deep pink, not too neon or too dark. If you are following me on Instagram (@thetwistedcoco), you would have seen me using it way too much. It is quite moist when you apply, but dries slowly to give a matte finish. The pigment is quite strong like any other matte lipstick.

This is my first post after I dyed my hair. This was done at B-Blunt, Indirangar (Bangalore). The ombre gradient colouring was not so ombre and the blonde I wanted differed so much than the one I selected in the beginning. Its been a month since the colouring has happened and now it is lighter and perfectly ombre and I'm beginning to love it. How do you like my hair? Do post a comment below and tell me what you think.
