The Concert Style: Coachella Fever
Have you been coachella-fied yet ? I'm ogling at all the pictures posted on Instagram from Coachella. Loving Kendal Jenner's and Rosie Huntington Whiteley's looks the most. I wish I was there atleast to check out all the amazing street and festival style outfits. And don't even get me started on the headgears been worn, love love love all of it! Fringe and bohemian looks dominated at Coachella, in fact they are making it big all over this summer. This has inspired me to come up with this post.
Maxi tops are a fresh favorite this summer. My eyes spot everything maxi these days. TodayI chose to wear this maxi top with extremely daring slits bought from Asos, it is extremely cheap but I hate the fact that we have to pay duty while getting it shipped to India. It is extremely simple yet sexy and can be worn as a day wear top or as a party wear, all depending on the accessories and the bottoms you plan to wear with it. When u hit the beach, you can wear this top as a beach cover up as I did the last time. You can also get this top done from your designer, the key point being high slits. I decided to wear distressed jewelled jeans along with it since the top is quite plain. You can wear it with a denim unstitched hem shorts for a sultry look.
As for the accessories, all of them are handpicked from Regium. Regium is this amazing accessories designer online shop which delivers quality, trendy yet economical accessories right to your doorstep. The delivery is super speedy too! The aztec flash tattoos which I purchased last week are alluring and easy to apply. They make a perfect choice for an outdoor event. These tattoos stay for 4 -5 days and can be easily removed by applying oil and rubbing it off. The statement headgear is a sale pick from Zara. My suggestion would be to not wear any kind of necklaces when you are wearing a headgear like this if you don't wanna look like you are all over the place.
Gladiator sandals are hip and happening this summer. The ones I'm wearing are the most basic tan tie-up gladiators from Asos. There are prettier and fancier ones at Mango and Asos ( click on these links to check out the options). The reason forc choosing this one is that I can vary the length depending on what I'm wearing along with it. When you are at a concert, it is easier to carry a backpack than a messenger bag or a tote so that you can dance around easily. That is the reason I chose to carry a suede fringe mini backpack from Asos and I love it!
