All that glitters : A beach wedding affair with diamonds
Since it was akshaya tritiya this week, I decided to do a post on gold and diamonds. You can never be underdressed when you are wearing diamonds. Don't know about them being a woman's best friend but they surely are something to savor forever. Diamonds are like an investment, besides being best kind of ornaments. The worth of a diamond only increases in time, provided you get an authentication certificate recognised by the International Gemological Institute of India which contains every detail of the diamond. Do not just buy it in a random shop just because it would cost you lesser. The resale value is almost negligible when diamonds are not legit.
All the jewellery worn in this shoot are from New Novelty Jewellers, Badagupet, Udupi. The maang tika is actually a pendant, the shape of the pendant is offbeat yet so perfectly goes well as a headpiece. It comes with a matching lotus earring as well. On my hands I'm wearing 3 different sets of diamond bangles. I particularly love the ones with the zig zag design, they are just exquisite. They have an exclusive collection of diamond jewellery and vast collection of antique jewellery as well.
The sari is a beautiful creation of Urvashi Kaur. I might be the biggest fan of powder blue. This is one color which is season neutral and can suit any skin. I love the blouse and the 3D flower embellishments too. The fit is as good as tailor-made and the finishing could not get any better. I purchased this from Exclusively.in, they have a huge variety of designer clothes. This is my goto site for festive Indian clothes.
Attending beach weddings can be made more comfortable with flats or wedges, pointy shoes or leather makes are a big no no. But my Jimmy Choo glitter shoe and clutch made an impeccable match for the sari. I just couldn't think of anything better to go with this outfit.
I kept the make up simple with simple pink shimmer powder blush from Chanel ( 64 Pink Explosion ) and a pink lipstick from Estée Lauder ( 28 Alluring Pink ) in Crystal Shimmer Pure Color collection. I love how my hair was done by Kimera. My nails were painted with Mac Pearl Screaming Bright, a perfect champagne color which can never go wrong with any outfit.
How did you like this outfit? Thank you for taking a look. I have an interesting post coming up this week. Stay tuned. Till then, stay stylish.
xoxo,
Pav
