The Green Bean : St. Patrick's Day

Not that I celebrate St. Patrick’s day but when you have a pretty green dress in your closet, I don’t see any reason not to. We had a photoshoot at a railway bridge close by my house. It has a lovely panorama of the river flowing by and the cool winds are perfect to unwind. One can come here for a momentary time off the chaotic lifestyle, but be very careful since the bridge is quite narrow and is not so safe at nights. What I love about Udupi and Manipal is that there are so many unseen scenic locations, I hope to cover most of them in the near future.

The dress was bought at the Flame boutique in Thalassa, Goa. I love the silhouette of this high-low wraparound dress. And color is so bright and summery, perfect for the weather here since it is made of cotton. Flame boutique belongs to a German designer, Martino Caramia who moved to India seven years ago. And the designs are inspired by his travel across India as well as the bohemian vibe of his time spent in Ibiza and LA. Designs from Flame are also available in Creo, Mumbai and Ensemble in Delhi and Mumbai.
The accessories I've worn have a tinge of green in every one of them, although they are not all the same shade specifically. The red and teal green waterfall necklace is a random buy from the flee market in Goa, the pumpkin orange necklace is from Mango. It is pretty long so I double lined it to the length desired. The rings are some miscellaneous picks from my closet. The humongous stone ring is a buy from Forever New. It is almost white now since it has been constantly used, this was previously turquoise-like, can you believe it? The blue stone midi ring is from Valliyan. Sorry I do not have any close-up pictures of them. I pulled my hair back to make a low bun leaving out some hair at the front, but it looks kinda messed up because of the extreme breezy situation going on in there.
Always pair your bright clothes with mellow make-up during the day. I wore the Dior Extreme lipstick No. 536 (Lucky) which is a rose pink but more like a balm, the pigment is very light and perfect for a casual day out. I like Dior Extreme lipsticks but they are not as long lasting as they claim to be. The nails are a Dior Vernis No. 504 (Waterlily) which is my favourite from under my huddle. It is a fresh fern green perfect spring color introduced with the Spring 2012 collection. This Limited Edition piece has a mild fragrance which I'm guessing, is of waterlily. I love Dior lacquer as they last the longest on my nails compared to any other lacquer I've used.
The Nude Crystal Thong Strappy sandals are from Mango. It is best to wear flats around terrains like these, and also as daily wear n tear. So that completes my look. Once again, my friend Naeera has done an amazing job with the pictures. How would you style your green outfit ? Please drop your comments below.

    1. Thank you :) oiling your hair is very important, apply it to your roots and leave it for half n hour before washing your hair, use mehti, amla n hibiscus packs on your hair as well once in 15 days. Diet also effects hairfall, always keep yourself hydrated and eat lots of greens and vitamin-c rich fruits. hope this helps.
